Nature Crete Pharmaceuticals PC (Nature Crete Pharma PC, http://ncp.gr) is a University of Crete spin-off company, founded by University Professors/Researchers, with the main goal to identify, develop and exploit the IP generated by the participants’ research, in the field of drug development.
In addition, additional NCP:
- Performs leading edge research (in silico, in vitro, in vivo) in the field of drug development.
- Exploits the extended biodiversity of the Cretan (and Greek) flora for drug development, based in a detailed analysis of plant metabolism and an in-depth knowledge and analysis of specific secondary metabolites.
- Provides services in the field of drug analysis and design and designs and performs out-patients exploratory clinical trials.
For the time-being, Nature Crete Pharmaceuticals PC has not dedicated laboratories. It uses, as a service, specialized research laboratories of its founding members, as well as other specialized academic laboratories.
